K | MASTERING ENGLISH

Our K | Mastering English encourages students to experiment with language, build confidence and improve their communication skills in a safe, supportive and stimulating environment. Students will learn through shared experiences and rich literature in a play-based setting. Our Lead Educators have a passion for Literacy and are trained to use various programmes. Your children will explore different themes and well-known books to make learning English a fun experience. No matter what level your child is we will differentiate our session to ensure their individual next steps are being met.

CLASS INCLUDES

• Introduce new vocabulary and develop current knowledge through individualised questioning

• Introduction to English alphabetic code, letter sounds and names in a fun imaginative way

• Learning to blend sounds together to make words and tricky words

EXAMPLE ACTIVITIES:

• Starting with a group circle time the students will have a chance to share things related to “All about Me”. Key vocabulary related to family will then be reinforced through a variety of creative activities like drawing (Adults will annotate) and exploring relevant literature. Students will play rhyming and alliteration games.
