Spaces are created for specific purposes and activities, yet so flexible that they offer endless possibilities to learn and play. Our big spiral building is accompanied by the vast green spaces to connect children with the environment and cultivate their understanding of the world.

WHAT IS KLS?

• KLS is an out-of-school learning centre, operating on weekdays and weekends.
• We offer classes that enhance and broaden Physical, Academic and Creative skills and mindsets for children from 4 months up to 11 years old.
• KLS is an offspring of Kensington International Kindergarten and located just next door in Soi Bangprom 16 on Ratchaphruek Road.
• KLS is built in a unique, stunning spiral design to symbolise growth and interconnected learning, with purpose-built facilities and details that stimulate learning everywhere, in all aspects.

WHAT WE TEACH?

• We offer multiple classes to ensure children have an opportunity to grow in a comprehensive way. Classes are taught on weekdays (after full-time school for older children) and weekends to enhance children’s skills and mindsets in the atmosphere that’s beyond traditional education.
• Students can personalise their learning journey to meet their interests or educational goals by consulting with our educational experts and teachers

• Classes are mostly taught in English apart from specific language classes. We promote a bilingual approach and have Educational Assistants that can support Thai speakers.

WHO ARE OUR TEACHERS?

• All the programmes at KLS are taught by highly qualified educational experts only.
• Our teachers are specialised in their areas of teaching, experienced and highly qualified.
• We believe in teamwork and have a mutual passion for child development. Committed, creative, understanding and fun are the qualities we look for in our team.

WHO CAN ENROL?

• KLS opens its doors for children from ANY SCHOOL, whether it’s Thai, International or other external providers.
• Children from 4 months to 11 years old can join us in classes that are suitable for their age groups.
• Since most classes are run in English, basic English skills are an advantage, however where possible we will use the support of our teaching assistants, parents and all our teachers are highly skilled in teaching children who are English Language Learners. Please contact our Educational Consultants if you have any concerns about your child’s English competency.

WHAT ARE THE COVID 19 PREVENTATIVE MEASURES AT KLS?

Our Health & Safety measures have always been in place at KLS, including the thorough cleaning of classrooms, daily fogging disinfection solution and UV lamp sterilisation overnight.

Intensive and inclusive health & safety policies are active, everyday, before, during and after every class at KLS.

IS IT A SCHOOL? DOES IT OFFER FULL-TIME EDUCATION?

• KLS is not a full-time school. We only offer out-of-school classes on weekdays and weekends.
• For younger children, our ‘Play Communities’ and other classes start from 9.00 am on weekdays. For older children, most classes are for after school on weekdays and on weekends.

IS KLS RELATED TO KENSINGTON INTERNATIONAL KINDERGARTEN?


• KLS is an offspring of Kensington International Kindergarten and located just next door in Soi Bangprom 16 on Ratchaphruek Street.
• Kensington Learning Space and Kensington International Kindergarten share the same belief in nurturing children to be happy lifelong learners. We also share our passion for high-quality child education, using a play-based approach and believe in children’s uniqueness and supporting them to reach their full potential.

ARE ALL CLASSES IN ENGLISH?

No, some specific language classes will be taught in different languages. However, for the majority of our classes we will teach in English. We believe in a bilingual approach and where possible try to use the support of teaching assistants, parents and a variety of English language learner techniques. We want to ensure all students are on the same track, enjoy their own pace of learning and gain a love of the English language where appropriate.

CAN STUDENTS FROM THAI SCHOOLS JOIN?

Yes, students from all types of schools are welcome to join.

DOES MY CHILD NEED TO WEAR A UNIFORM?

No, individual teachers will give recommendations based on what is appropriate and comfortable for your child based on the focus of that lesson. We will give you more information about this when you discuss particular classes with our Educational Consultants.

WHAT IS THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND SICKNESS POLICY?

KLS has a Health and Safety Policy that is reviewed regularly to ensure our staff, students and families are kept safe. We also have a AQI Air Quality Action Policy and Sickness procedure. These Policies are available for parents and families to access on request.

We also have preventative measures for COVID 19 in place.

DOES KLS PROVIDE MEALS FOR CHILDREN?

Yes, some long sessions will include a healthy snack and we will also be offering a lunch service with an additional fee. Our food produce is organic and prepared on site. Allergies and religious beliefs are accommodated. Please speak to our Educational consultants for more information regarding this service.

DOES KLS PROVIDE A DROP-OFF SERVICE?

Yes, we provide a waiting area for children before and after classes and a member of our team will support in this area. Please refer to our waiting area policy for more details. 

HOW OLD DO CHILDREN HAVE TO BE TO JOIN?

Children from 4 months are welcome to come for our baby sessions and we have classes suitable for all children to 11 years old.

WHAT ARE YOUR OPERATING DAYS AND HOURS?

KLS opens from 9am to 6pm on Monday to Sunday.
