Astro Cover02

Get ready to zoom into space in this exciting and playful class! Children will explore the magic of the night sky through songs, stories, games, and creative art. We’ll travel to the moon, twinkle with the stars, and imagine floating like astronauts among the planets.

Each session is full of hands-on adventures: little explorers can create their own starry artwork, play with sensory “space dust,” act out astronaut missions, and listen to stories about rockets, planets, and faraway galaxies. We’ll also sing songs about the sun, moon, and stars, and play movement games that make us feel like we’re drifting through space!

CLASS INCLUDES
  • Planet Adventure Walk – Children become planets, orbiting, spinning, and moving through a giant scaled solar system to feel the size and distance of space.
  • Rocket Engineering Lab – Teams design and test rockets using recycled materials with different propulsion methods (straw, balloon, or water rockets). They improve their designs through trial and error.
  • Craters in Action – Children drop “asteroids” (balls) into flour-and-cocoa “moon dust” to see how craters form, testing how size, height, and speed affect the results.
  • Constellation Creators – In a dark-sky setting, children explore real constellations, then invent their own “KLS Constellation” with glow-in-the-dark art and a storytelling element.
