K | Little Lunch Makers is a calm, nurturing class where children make food together and eat together, creating meaningful connections around the shared experience of mealtime. It gently supports selective eaters by building curiosity and confidence around food in a pressure-free environment.
Through hands-on preparation, songs, storytelling, and joyful rituals like setting the table and cleaning up together, children develop independence, teamwork, and pride in helping — making mealtimes less stressful and more joyful at home. Research has proven its amazing what your child is willing to try when they’ve been part of making it.
CLASS INCLUDES
• We support selective eaters by modelling positive mealtime habits and sharing no-pressure strategies with families.
• Children “shop” for ingredients from a playful market setup, selecting vegetables and fruits to help prepare the day’s shared dish.
• Wash, mix, and explore the textures of ingredients while singing a food-themed song that makes the process fun and familiar.
