ชวนชมภาพท้องทะเลผ่านสายตาของเด็ก ๆ และเหตุผลที่ทะเลสำคัญสำหรับพวกเขา ในวัน WORLD OCEANS DAY กันครับ! 🐟
น้อง ๆ รู้หรือไม่ครับว่า โลกของเรามีพื้นที่เป็นทะเลกว้างกว่า 70%! เป็นแหล่งพำนักของสิ่งมีชีวิตใต้น้ำ อุดมไปด้วยทรัพยากรมากมายที่สำคัญต่อทุกชีวิต อีกทั้งทะเลยังเป็นปอดของโลกไม่ต่างจากต้นไม้ เพราะทะเลสามารถผลิตออกซิเจนได้มากกว่า 50% ของทั้งโลกรวมกันเลยทีเดียว!
เพื่อระลึกถึงความสำคัญของท้องทะเล องค์การสหประชาชาติ(UN) ได้กำหนดให้วันที่ 8 มิถุนายน เป็น “วันทะเลโลก” หรือ WORLD OCEANS DAY เพื่อให้ผู้คนหันมาใส่ใจการอนุรักษ์ทะเลกันให้มากยิ่งขึ้น และธีมของวันทะเลโลกในปี 2021 คือ “The Ocean: Life and Livelihoods” ครับ
พวกเราที่ KLS จึงขอร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการเฉลิมฉลองวันสำคัญนี้ ด้วยการชวนให้เหล่าศิลปินตัวน้อย มาวาดภาพทะเลและสิ่งมีชีวิตใต้ท้องทะเล ตามจินตนาการของเด็ก ๆ พร้อมตอบคำถามว่า ”ทำไมท้องทะเลจึงสำคัญ?”
มาดูกันว่าโลกใต้น้ำของเด็ก ๆ นั้นจะมีชีวิตชีวามากขนาดไหน และสำหรับเด็ก ๆ แล้ว ทะเลมีความหมายอย่างไรต่อพวกเขา พบกับหลาย ๆ คำตอบที่จะชวนให้เรายิ้มตาม และทำให้เราอยากช่วยกันดูแลท้องทะเลของเด็ก ๆ ให้อยู่กับเราทุกคนไปนาน ๆ เลยล่ะครับ 🙂

Did you know our oceans cover more than 70% of the earth’s surface? They are filled with a variety of sea creatures, plants and valuable life sources that are crucial for every life on earth. The oceans are also called “The lungs of the Earth” as they produce more than 50% of the oxygen we breathe!
To raise awareness of the whole world to conserve the oceans, The United Nations declare June 8th as “World Oceans Day” and this year’s theme of World Oceans Day 2021 is “The Ocean: Life and Livelihoods”
In celebration of World Oceans Day 2021, KLS assigned our young artists to create a piece of art regarding the underwater world and marine life. We also questioned them “Why is the ocean important?”
Let’s see how rich and vibrant the oceans look through children’s eyes and how much oceans mean to them. Their answers put smiles on our faces and will definitely make everyone wants to take care of our children’s oceans!

“เพราะทะเลใหญ่ และหนูว่ายน้ำได้”
– น้องนีมส์ อายุ 5 ปี
Why is the ocean important?
“Because the ocean is big and I can swim in it.”

ทำไมท้องทะเลจึงสำคัญ?
“ทะเลสำคัญเพราะว่าจะได้ลงไปดูสัตว์น้ำ เพราะในทะเลมีปลาโลมาที่ลงไปหาปะการังและมีสตาร์ฟิช เต่า และก้อนหินที่วิเศษสุด ๆ คือก้อนหินเรนโบว์ และสาหร่ายที่ไม่ขึ้นมาเพราะว่าไม่มีคนจับ มีปลาที่ว่ายน้ำแบบนี้ (ทำท่ากระเบน) มีกุ้งโดด มีปลาที่สวยที่สุดเพราะว่าเค้าคือปลาเรนโบว์ มีสามตา แต่เค้าโสยมากนะครับ และมีปลาหมึกที่มันตลก และมีแมงกะพรุนที่สวยสุด ๆ ครับ”

Why is the ocean important?
“The ocean is important because I can dive to see aquatic animals. Because in the ocean, there are dolphins that dive down seeking corals and there are starfish, turtles, and the wonderful rocks because they’re rainbow rocks and seaweeds that never get out of the water because nobody harvests them. There are fish that swim like this (imitating stingrays). There are jumping shrimps. There are the most beautiful fish of all because they’re rainbow fish. They have 3 eyes but they’re so beautiful. And there are funny octopus and beautiful jellyfish.”

“The oceans are the place for sea animals, without the ocean, my favourite sea animal (turquoise seahorse) will die.”
