Instilling a love of Maths through a variety of STEAM activities. K | Maths through STEAM aims to spark an interest in Maths concepts through enjoyable interactive lessons. Inviting children into a virtual world, they will be provided with a variety of tasks to solve problems.

Whilst they get lost in their imagination, they will also simultaneously learn Maths concepts, including numbers, converting decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication and so much more. By integrating our activities in this way it attracts students to the subject, which in turn increases their motivation and performance within this area.

CLASS INCLUDES

• Learning Maths skills through interactive lessons

• Fostering a positive attitude toward Maths through engaging and fun lessons

• Identifying their areas for development and individually supporting children to overcome and strengthen that area

EXAMPLE ACTIVITIES:

• To help the monsters trapped on a planet get home and work with their friends to fix a space rocket using Mathematical theories and teamwork.

• “Ramp and Roll” in this activity your child will create different objects and then measure how far they roll, analyse friction caused and the suitability of the different materials.
