FOR KID AGED 4 - 7 YEARS

K | LITTLE FILM MAKERS

In our Little Filmmakers class, we will introduce your child to the form of film making through well known stories. The children will familiarise themselves with the story and take the part of different roles, they will have a chance to act out a scene, be part of the filming crew and even some simple editing of the footage. As your child becomes more confident they can move to creating new scripts for example… an alternative ending to a familiar story. Just like our class for older students collaborative effort is crucial for the final product, the anticipated release of their latest film! Which we hope to premier to you the parents at the end of our term.

CLASS INCLUDES

Use of iPad and iMovie for recording, uploading and editing
Create and use different props including green screen to create a “set”
Being involved in every step of the filmmaking process

EXAMPLE ACTIVITIES:

• Read and familiarise themselves with the story of the three little pigs, organise the actors for each character, practice our lines and design and organise our props and set.

• Film the different scenes of the Three little pigs, upload and get ready for editing on iMovie.
